Greetings, I am pleased to introduce myself as a dedicated scholar on the cusp of completing a Ph.D. in Economics, with a comprehensive academic journey with studies spanning Finance, Business Administration, and culminating in Economics. As a retired combat veteran from Operation Iraqi Freedom, I have chosen to focus my research on the intersection of macroeconomic policy and veterans’ issues, aiming to contribute valuable insights that bridge the gap between economic theory and the real-world challenges confronted by those who have served our nation.

My journey includes serving as a combat veteran in the Army, which has given me firsthand insight into the challenges our incredible servicemen and women encounter. Though retired from active duty, my dedication to both macroeconomic principles and the well-being of veterans fuels my enthusiasm for crafting policies that not only boost our economy but also provide support to those who’ve bravely served our nation. With 24 years military service, including a combat tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom, I bring a wealth of real world experience. My career began as a Fire Direction Specialist, working with computers for the Field Artillery. It then led me to be a Cannoneer and culminated in me becoming a Human Resources Non-Commissioned Officer. I retired as a Sergeant First Class, and had accumulated the following awards during my service.
